A New Phrase To Negotiate With
This week I wrote up an offer on a condo for a friend of mine. He asked me if the contract was littered with “or else” statements. With much shame I had to inform him that he would not find that phrase anywhere in the contract.
I walked away from that conversation thinking “I really like the sound of that… OR ELSE!”.
There’s a certain menacing quality we’ve been lacking in real estate for some time and I think that it’s time to put some swagger back in our offers!
I’m going to run this by our attorneys and see what they have to say.
