Goodbye Ken Griffey Junior

Nothing much to say here. I just wanted to pay a little homage to my favorite player of all time and greatest player of our generation, Ken Griffey Jr.

From robbing Jesse Barfield in Yankee Stadium (which surpasses the spider-man catch in my opinion), to slugging 8 home runs in 8 consecutive games, to hitting the Camden Yards Warehouse, to “the Slide” in 95′, to the 97′ MVP, to coming back home last season it has been an awesome ride.

I’m glad that not only I got to watch him all of these years but that my kid’s are able to say that they got to see him play as well.

It’s hard to believe that we’ll ever see another player like that in Seattle, let alone anywhere else.

Thanks for the memories Junior!
