Meet the Happiest Man in America

The Gallup Poll folks have been collecting data the last several years to determine what it is that makes we Americans happy.  After the data was collected and assimilated it was dicovered that to be truly happy you must be “tall, Asian-American, observant Jew who is at least 65 and married, has children, lives in Hawaii, runs his own business and has a household income of more than $120,000 a year.”  Drat.  I don’t fill the bill.

So, the NY Times wrote an article about the Gallup finding and they said to themselves, “I wonder….”.  A few phone calls later and they had found Alvin Wong, who fits the description to a tee.  Is he happy?  Why, yes he is, thank you very much.

There isn’t much that can be done for yourself to change much of Gallup’s criteria to be the happiest person in America.  But you could move to Hawaii, and I bet that would help quite a bit.  And I know a realtor who would be happy to help you. 🙂
