SE Seattle is home to the Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center located at Stan Sayers Park on Lake Washington.  Known mostly for hosting Seafair every August, they also provide classes and events for people who enjoy boats at a slightly slower pace.  On June 4 at 10am they are holding a free introduction to the sport of rowing.  It’s a drop-in event that will teach the basics of rowing, both on land and water.  If you’ve ever watched the crew boats slice through calm morning waters and thought “that’s for me”, here is your chance!
