101 Things To Do in SE Seattle: #56 Summer Reading

June 7, 2011

Columbia City Library

We have a wealth of libraries here in SE Seattle, four to be exact: Columbia City, Rainier Beach, New Holly, and Beacon Hill.  Every summer the city libraries host a summer reading program for the kids, sign up to participate and win a prize after reading a certain amount of books.  Also, there are scheduled performances for kids of all ages.  It’s a fun program and a great way to keep kids reading during the summer.
